Singh Is Kinng, the much awaited film of the recent times opened with a bang today all across the country and all thanks to the pre-publicity overdrive, it has also got the cash registers ringing for its makers. But not all is well for the film, as around 20 Sikh youths indulged in pelting of stones at the Annam theatre in Amritsar, Punjab, and the reason cited as the film depicts the Sikh community in a deformed style. These protestors were armed with swords and portraits of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala, the slain militant leader. Even though the police arrived on time and took charge of the situation, they were unable to nab the protestors as they had fled the scene immediately after the police's arrival.
